Life Before Planning
My path to wedding planning wasn’t exactly traditional – but then again, the best journeys rarely are.
I started my career as a high school math teacher working with students with special needs. This taught me invaluable lessons about empathy, patience, maintaining a curious mindset, and the power of genuine connections. Most importantly, I learnt that in life or business, success comes from truly understanding each person’s unique needs. This profoundly influences how I approach interactions with couples I’m working with, and every celebration I plan.
Strategic Expertise Meets Creative Vision
After earning my MBA, I joined a top tier consulting firm, working with C-suite executives at Fortune 500 companies. Here, I honed project management and strategic thinking skills while prioritizing meaningful connections. I found myself naturally gravitating toward event planning, becoming the go-to person for celebrations, both at work and for friends. I loved hearing each couple’s unique story and watching their vision come to life. Each celebration brought me closer to my realization that wedding planning was truly my calling.

When I’m not orchestrating celebrations, you’ll find me exploring everything New York City has to offer – from immersing myself in arts and culture at museums and Broadway shows, to discovering the city’s latest food and cocktail scenes.
And yes, I’m that person in Central Park who’s always stopping to admire other people’s dogs, hoping one day to have one of my own.
